Chronic Illness Therapy for Body and Mind
How Therapy Can Help with Chronic Illness
As a trauma-informed therapist, I support individuals navigating the mental and emotional weight of chronic illness
I understand firsthand how difficult living with a chronic illness can be.
Living with chronic illness can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. Maybe you’re frustrated by doctors who don’t listen, friends or family who don’t understand, or a body that doesn’t cooperate with your plans. Therapy can help you process the grief, guilt, and identity shifts that come with chronic illness — without judgment or blame.
I work with adults living with conditions like autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, POTS, MCAS, long COVID, chronic pain, and other medically complex or invisible illnesses. Together, we focus on emotional support, nervous system regulation, and practical strategies to navigate life with an unpredictable body. You don’t need a diagnosis for your symptoms to be valid, and you deserve care that meets you where you are.
Sessions are flexible to accommodate energy fluctuations, symptom flare-ups, and your preferred format — video or audio-only. My approach is trauma-informed, somatic, and integrative, helping you feel seen, supported, and more in tune with your body and your needs.
Virtual Therapy for Chronic Illness in California, Idaho, Utah, and Washington
I offer online therapy sessions for individuals living in California, Idaho, and Utah. Whether you’re navigating chronic fatigue, long COVID, autoimmune illness, or another invisible condition, you deserve care that meets you where you are—emotionally, physically, and geographically.
My approach centers compassion, curiosity, and sustainable pacing. There is no pressure to “get better” in a linear way. Instead, we focus on building resilience, reducing overwhelm, and helping you feel more at home in your body—even when symptoms persist.
A Somatic and Trauma-Informed Approach to Chronic Illness
Living with chronic illness often means being stuck in survival mode. Many clients come to me feeling disconnected from their bodies, frustrated by flare-ups, and unsure how to move forward when nothing seems to “fix” what’s happening. That’s where somatic therapy and parts work can be incredibly supportive.
Our work together focuses on gently reconnecting with your body, uncovering the emotional layers beneath chronic symptoms, and honoring the wisdom your system is holding. We’ll explore how early experiences, trauma, and the nervous system may be influencing how your body is functioning now—not as blame, but as a path to healing.
